Expanding Vocabulary

Makenzie has recently expanded her vocabulary. Although we know what she is talking about she doesn't necessarily use the new words properly. For example, when excited about something she'll say something along these lines, "Mom, I'm so PROUD that I have a new skirt." She also replies when given a choice, "Mom, it doesn't care." - Meaning it doesn't matter to me you pick one. "Is it for a long day?" - Meaning how long will it be? So cute. I love when they use new words!

I love all the new words and phrases too! It really is hilarious! I ask Isaac so often where he learned that because he says the craziest things, that now when I tell him normal stuff like "go potty before you go to bed" then he looks at me all shocked and says "Mom, where did you learn that ?!?!" So fun!
