A Day at the Park

We went to the park yesterday for a cousin's birthday party. The kids (including Jeff) had a good time on the play ground. They really enjoyed the ride on alligator. Makenzie's looking cool in her new Dora glasses she got for Christmas. She doesn't leave home without them.

They had a Dora pinata at the party. Logan enjoyed using the baseball bat to get the candy out of her-maybe he's sick of watching Dora cartoons everyday. Makenzie refused to take a whack at her favorite character. After Dora busted Logan collected her head as a trophy and wore it around the park.

All I Want For New Years Is My 2 Front Teeth

Logan lost another tooth a couple of days ago. He was so excited that he didn't swallow it his time. It's harder for him to eat so maybe that'll save us money on his grocery bill.

santaphobia

Logan seems to be getting over his Santaphobia. Makenzie however still suffers from this mental illness.

Christmas

Logan got a Lego Lion for Christmas that took his Lego Dad 2 Lego hours to put together.

HO HO AHHH!

Kenzie was so excited to tell Santa she wanted a Dora doll for Christmas. She waved to him as we stood in line. But decided that he was too scary to sit on his lap thus the screaming. Logan is so good to comfort his sister and handles her screaming very well.

Lights!

Logan helped me put up Christmas lights. He's a little scared of the top of the ladder.

Eli's christmas

Eli got just what he was asking for. Something to drool on. This was taken at our Christmas dinner on Thursday.

I'm Open! No I'm Open!

A great action shot of our football game. We (I) have named this event "The Caos Bowl". If you have a better name, let me know.

Hey! Ride

Pictures from our great hay ride at the Lindsay farm. We had a great time at the Udall Thanksgiving this year.
PS. There are four bothers in this picuture. Can you see them?

WANTED: MISSING TOOTH

Today at Wendy's Logan asked where's my tooth? We couldn't find it anywhere. He figured he swallowed it along with a chicken nugget. So much for putting it under his pillow. He decided to write a note to the tooth fairy on a tooth shaped piece of paper to explain what happened.

CHILLY???

It's starting to cool down in Gilbert.

Tricks or Treats?????

Here are our trick or treaters. For those of you who don't spend most of your day watching Nick Jr., Makenzie is Dora The Explorer. They had such a good time and Makenzie said "trick or treat" at every house. We even ran into Noah, who we think was Darth Vader, but he didn't have his mask on. Jeff and I were party poopers and didn't dress up this year.

New Adventures

Logan started a new sports class. They work on basics for soccer, t-ball, and basketball. They ran 1/4 of a mile on the track too. That wore him out. On Thursday he went to the firestation with his pre-k class. This is one of his good friends, Emma. Isn't she a cutie.

Makenzie started a tap/ballet combo class. Doesn't she look cute in her tutu? She is really starting to enjoy it. And she just looks so adorable in her dance outfit.

POTTY PRINCESS

After 3 unsuccessful attempts Makenzie is now a big girl and going potty! We started on Tuesday and by Thursday she was accident free. We are so excited and proud and happy that we will not be having to buy two sets of diapers when the baby comes. Our next big step is to get Makenzie sleeping in a bed. But we will wait a few weeks to attempt that. YEA KENZIE!!

Pictures Logan took

We bought Logan a cheap digital camera for Christmas last year and these are some of his better pictures he has taken.

This is one of his favorite sister, so far, taken at the conference center in Salt Lake.

This is one of my favorites. Logan put his camera on the trash can, pushed the button and ran in front to take picture of himself. Clever kid, even if he wasn't quite fast enough.

A great closup of our favorite boogger factory.

Good ol' tire swings!!!

We spent a couple of days in Safford this weekend with Grandma Jayna & Grandpa Dave. The weather couldn't have been nicer. The kids enjoyed the tire swings, which I think "tired" out Grandma from pushing them for an hour it seemed. Thanks to Grandma & Grandpa for their hospitality and great food!

GIRLS 3 BOYS 2

The girls in our family are now outnumbering the boys. We found out today that the next addition to our family will be another girl. Yeah! Logan was a little disappointed that the baby's not a boy but is excited to have another sister. Kenzie is excited too, although we don't really think she truly understands exactly what is going on yet. They did a 3-d photo and you can really tell what our baby looks like.

LOGAN'S 5 YEAR OLD PICS

The latest pictures of our 5 year old. The one on the left he's suppose to be standing like superman, but didn't know quite how.

First Day of School

Logan started pre-K yesterday. He was so excited. Last year he had school in the morning but has it in the afternoon this year. All morning he kept asking 'is it time?'

Makenzie started crying after we dropped him off. Although she got over it quickly, she went right down for a nap and I had to wake her to go pick him up.

LOGAN'S 5

Logan turned 5 yesterday. We celebrated by dad taking the day off work and the whole family going to Amazing Jakes for some birthday fun. Dad and Logan enjoyed the go-carts. Kenzie and Logan had fun in a game of air-hockey.

And the whole family got in a game of bowling.

Fancy Hair

Check this out.

I don't know how she does it, but every morning she wakes up with her hair styled so nicely.

STITCHES

We made it almost 5 years as parents without making a trip to get stitches. Saturday Makenzie flew off the couch and hit the coffee table. She was a real trooper at the doctor's. She didn't cry the whole time she was being stitched up.
