Public Speaking
Makenzie gave her first talk today at church on "Heavenly Father sent me to my family and I can help them". I asked her what she did to help her family. Her answers - make my bed, give them hugs, wash the dishes, pray, go to church. I then found pictures to go with each one. We practiced at home and were sure that "we" would be giving the talk. Boy did she surprise us. We whispered in her ear but she gave the talk.

Good job Makenzie! I find my kids do better with talks when they get to decide what to say too.
that is fantastic! Great job Kenzie! Addie has given one out of like 3 so far. . .
It' hard to see Makenzie giveing a talk. I haven't see my own kids give a talk. I know because of great parents she and Logan and Ashlie will be great leaders in their homes and in the communities they live in.
I'm looking forward to hearing her talk.
